With over 25 years of experience in the food industry, Johan has had a varied career — from fine dining and large kitchens to pop-up concepts and product development. The passion for food comes from a deep interest in creativity, whether it's creating taste sensations, developing concepts or innovating new products. Johan is involved in two lunch restaurants, where they daily ensure that around 800 guests are served fresh, tasty meals made with love. He has also developed his own product line of natural flavor enhancers, created to elevate food.
At the same time, he shares his knowledge and experience through the podcast Stunning health, which he runs alongside renowned functional medicine physician and physician Cecilia Furst. Here, they explore the interplay between food, health and science, and offer practical advice on how to live healthier.
Johan is also behind Karsten Warholm's food, where he tailors meals for optimal performance. In addition, he has helped develop healthier food offerings in both nurseries and the convenience market, with the goal of making nutritious food more accessible to everyone. For Johan, food is about more than just taste — it is a tool for health, energy and quality of life. His goal is to bridge the gap between food and health, and show that nutritious food can be both simple, accessible and wonderfully good!
